In 1975, Stern received a diploma in Radio Engineering Institute of Electronics after which he earned a radio license. Stern moved to New York and started working with WNBC-AM in March 1982, but got fired after some time. He signed later with K-ROCK formerly known as WXRK. He worked with them for about 20 years and got immense fame because of his highest-rated morning radio show. He had about 20 million listeners.
Stern initiated hosting a Saturday night television show entitled The Howard Stern Show in July 1990. Stern photography featured in many magazines including, WHIRL and Hamptons. Stern also worked as a judge on America’s Got Talent from the year 2012 to 2015.
